Adaptation, another good film

I went to sleep very early last night, maybe around 6'ish, I was exhausted, this week just completely took the wind out of my sails. It's also amazingly easy to sleep at home, nobody coming in at all hours of the night, nobody knocking on the door to see Tanner, nobody playing their music with the bass turned up all the way. Judging by my cell phone Joanna called once during the night, it was on silent so it's not small wonder that it didn't do much to awake me from my stupor. I remember I had originally planned to just nap for a few minutes then head out to Norwood, but I should have known better, I know myself better than that. So, I basically slept in my jeans and a jacket last night. Of course now my sleep cycle is all screwed up, I woke up at 4 AM feeling rested, but unable to get back to sleep. I finally decided going downstairs and getting something to eat was high on my priority list having slept through dinner and not having eaten a real breakfast of lunch the day prior. Once I was back amongst the living, I decided that it's about time I watched the movie "adaptation" that shawn was kindly enough to loan me. I actually really enjoyed it, I always find myself able to relate to Charlie Kaufman's nerdy protagonists very easily. I'd certainly reccomend seeing it, not quite as good as eternal sunshine, but an interesting plot that keeps you guessing. Anyways, I suppose waking up early is a good thing, if I'd slept in really late, I don't have an alarm clock and I could easily miss the tourney I'm planning on attending in Hadley today. I'm just two cards shy, shouldn't be too hard to come by, those cards aren't really hard to get, plus worst comes to worst I'll call Jeff and he'll figure out something for me. He's a good guy like that. I suppose I am a little disappointed that Rich can't join me, he's busy looking at BC law school ironically enough. I suppose it won't be so bad, I patched things up with Asian James, we've agreed never to discuss the issue of sports again and that should smooth things out. I certainly prefer it this way, I never like to be at odds with people and James was a good friend. Our only real problem was the Yankees-Sox thing, so now that that's over with it should be fine. I was a little sad that he's not playing magic much anymore, but I suppose it's not a big deal, he said he'd be around hadley today, maybe I can nudge him into a draft or something, I'll definitely bring my draft box in case things go sour. Well, that's all for now, hopefully the subject of my next post will be a 1st place tourney report where I talk about how awesome my new mox jet is. Wish me luck.
