i was the only person out of the entire group yesterday that he called for a 1-on-1 interview. however, my personality test says im patient, introverted, detail-oriented, and relatively formal.... all the things a sales person isnt. he suggested i become an engineer lol. soooo he told me to decide if its what i wanted to commit to and work hard [personality wise] then to call him and let him know. He said I would be better at an administrative position or an assistant to a sales-rep. for their company. He told me he'll have openings in a month and will keep me in mind.
I took my fancy pants suit + rub-my-feet-heels and went to Home Instead and Target and applied there.
The personality test was somewhat enlightening. Granted I knew all the things he told me i was.... it layed out my stronger characteristics. I'm definitely leaning more and more towards physicians assistant now that I was a few weeks ago. I even talked to my aunt [RN] about the pros and cons of nurse-practitioner vs. physician's assistant. She said they do relatively the same things but that I could get my Master's in PA faster, wouldn't need "on-the-job" training like I would with the NP route. Plus, in theory, it will only take me 3yrs to get my Bio degree and I won't have to be accepted into the program or do any operating room crap.
