So, today my mother got her birthday present from my other grandmother. I was not aware of this until I heard HOWLS of laughter coming from the hall. I padded out to find out what they were shrieking about. Mother was wearing a lovely new necklace. Gold. With a gold leaf on it. A gold marijuana leaf.
God knows where my grandmother got it from. XD She won't have had any idea what it was. Mum likes it. It's very pretty. And a good talking piece! :D
In other news, Dad has won a competition for free books for a year. Lucky for some. Humph!
