Everyone: Why is it doing that?
Dad: *from the kitchen* Bloody thing, nothing burning here, humph!
Dad: *removes lid from saucepan that he has put oil in and left to quietly heat*
Flames: LEAP DRAMATICALLY FROM SAUCEPAN
Dad: ... ah.
Dad: *places saucepan on the drive*
Us: *watch the flames flame*
Dad: Oops?
Saucepan: *sits tragic and lonely and filled with burning oil!*
