Today the bus system reached an exciting new low! I bought my ticket in the morning, asking for my return and giving the bus driver the correct money. I got to town, I did my work. I left. The bus arrived, I stepped on, I held out my ticket. He looked at the ticket. He pointed out it was only a single. The useless, incompetent imbecile in the morning had printed me the wrong ticket and failed to notice how much money I gave him! I was so angry I nearly cried. (it doesn't help that I am currently mega-unrelaxed and nervous about everything) The second bus driver was terribly sympathetic and clearly didn't want to chuck me off the bus but he didn't really have any choice. I got Dad to give me a lift home because I had no money on me. But oh, how revoltingly annoying. And that was my freaking money! Well, he has taught me to ALWAYS check my ticket from now on.

Real Life is mostly eh. Work was pretty good though - I am now scanning photos into the system and writing descriptions! Which is fun although since I don't know what the photos are of, the descriptions are mostly "This is a photo of a factory. With a chimney. And a muddy yard. There's a road to the left." Which, you know, you could see if you looked at the photo so I'm not quite sure of the use ...

So, watching Beer Bad today. (I actually always liked the episode unlike most people - it's funny!) Buffy sits down with a gathering of men to drink beer. We get a different shot of young men. And I squeal with JOY because one of the young men is KUTNER FROM HOUSE! So much happy glee and love! And since no one has called him by a name, obviously, IT REALLY IS KUTNER. He never talked about his unfortunate experience in Sunnydale UC. He totally transferred after this! :D

Wild at Heart. I am sad to see Oz leave cause I do really like him, although I am looking forward to Tara's imminent arrival. But I have to say, Oz's decision to take off really is selfish. I mean, the reasoning behind it is sound enough but the way he chooses to go about it is really absolutely rotten. Would he even have told Willow if she hadn't arrived? It just bugs me that he never even tried to talk to her about it except for three seconds of "Yep, it's bye time now."

The Initiative. Forrest has now shown up! I love Forest! I wish Buffy had dated him instead. I mean, he doesn't get very much development but I bet he would have been really interesting. Riley is okay but really mostly invisible - I don't hate him, I just kind of totally don't see him when he's there. Which is a step up from active annoyance with Angel so I can cope with this. And oh, Spike and Willow's definitely-not-impotence conversation is AWESOME. "Why don't we wait half an hour and you can try again?" and the sudden look of "WHAT AM I SAYING?" is just lovely.

Pangs. Spike pleading for brandy is so lovely. Everything Spike does in Pangs is quite lovely. And hee, his Boromir moment with lots of arrows! Oh Spike! And his angstyness when staring through windows. It's just really quite lovely. "A bear! You made a bear! UNDO IT! UNDO IT!" (although, does Angel really do anything useful? Buffy is the one who actually, you know, wins. It's a bit of a flimsy excuse to bring him back, they could have used a bigger and more scary evil where he actually did something, I feel) (I wonder if one could put up a compelling argument for it just being a Powers That Be set up for him becoming human, then choosing

(you know, it's quite interesting how much of Buffy would have been much easier if they had mobile phones. Several things would help them out in various situations!)
