Netflix movie.
Whiteout (2009) - Treachery in the Antarctic.
Writers: Jon Hoebel, Erich Hoebel/Director: Dominic Sena
This is a B movie. The MC (Kate Beckinsale) is a police officer in a permanent base at the Antarctic. Of course she’s badass but she’s also a clean person; we can tell that because she strips and takes a shower in the first scene. She doesn’t seem to have any body tattoos. She also stays remarkably well-coiffed even though she has to keep popping out into the white. You’d think sometime she’d have ‘parka hair’.
There’s a mysterious death. You know one of the good guys is actually a bad guy. Gabriel Macht is in it (the guy from Suits). The best thing about the screenplay is that he comes in late but doesn’t take over the action.
