The black werewolf is also known as the grey werewolf or the Mightyena werewolf; all are references to the ( Read more... )

uggggh oh my god I am just reeling from the craziness of this universe and

Magic-users! How does it work, where are the limits? How does this change the integration of Pokemon and human society? Are Pokemon a common-people's substitution for magic? Where is the line between being human and being a magical creature? (I kind of stole fire-witch from a book series, they're human but have a natural source of magic and tend to catch on fire if you piss them off and...stuff and I felt like it fit really well into pokeverse)

And now that I'm talking with Ri, I've started thinking about non-Pokemon dragons. I AM COMPLETELY OVERTHINKING EVERYTHING UGH

please send me all your thoughts on faeries and I will write things

and meanwhile I will try to finish this here article

ON FAERIES. There are many sub species of faeries and spirits and whatever. Faeries and spirits were created by magic! They are the purest forms of magic to exist. However, that is changing as time passes and as they evolve. Once at the beginning of time, they began with no coporal form and as time went on, they started develop their own forms depending on their location. Some became more humanoid looking than others due to their contact with humanity and others could never pass off as a human ( ... )

Because the comment was getting a little too long.

Most faeries aren't that powerful. Although they have a natural core of magic and have one of the purest forms of magic, their inclination towards trickery and the lighter forms of magic means they never actually develop their core any further. Under Pryce, however, Blue did develop her abilities and she easily outclasses most of her species with exceptions of the high elves(who also train and hone their magic) and particularly powerful witches and wizards.

Also, because they are incredibly tiny, faeries are very delicate creatures. Even Blue, with her training under Pryce, is still very delicate and can be thrown around very easily, sob.

....holy shit wow I woke up to ALL THIS

I think I'm going to start with an explanation of how magic works and the differences between magical creatures, humans, and Pokemon. Then I'll go to witches/wizards, of the natural and acquired kind.

As for the other magical creatures...I want to leave them alone until someone picks up the corresponding Holder, so as not to restrict anyone. Maybe I'll do the windigo afterward, since Diamond's mun has him pretty well defined.

and faeries are kind of intimidating the hell out of me because of the sheer amount of tl;dr so I'll just...build up to that

also can you explain elves and how they are different from humans besides physical appearance

\o/ Essay writer I am not. And it wasn't that long :|a no longer than what you wrote on Sapphire alone.

Elves are all very intelligent creatures and place lots of value on knowledge. Oath picked up Platinum before I could get my tl;dr on elves worked out buuut the differences amount to physical differences(ears, height etc), the same differences between all magical creatures and other humans and the fact that they can only ever have one spouse - their spouse becomes their life partner and soul mate. Humans are not limited by such things! Elves are. But because they're closer to humans than any other race without preying on the humans the way werewolves and vampires do, in some regions, they are more accepted than others.

and why am I answering this at 2:53 am in the morning, someone shoot me.

kiwi

kiwi do you know what you need to do

you need to make a comm for this so that I don't clutter up Sapphire's journal

and then we can musebox things

call it pokefae

done and done! FFFFF I hate you go die in a fire I should not be doing this crap after getting only 3 hrs of sleep.

btw you can treat pokefae as a general musebox later. dumping ground for future ideas that should stay there since apparently PD is being overrun by AUs, anything else rp with non pokemon muses ignore the last bit.

WILL MAKE IT PRETTY LATER. FOR NOW. CRASHING. AGAIN.

oh yeah - the idea to subclassify werewolves into different kinds/species was because I saw that you had listed Gold as being a werewolf too and

it would probably be more fitting to have him be something like an Arcanine, hence "different species"

also I can't see Gold being FULL OF ANGERRRRRR >8U so I listed the black werewolf as being the one known for general pissiness

YEAH, great minds think alike. xD I was meant to add 'oh and there's lots of subspecies and stuff guys' but I forgot. :|a

lol yes. Gold's like...chill. Though part of that has to do with the fact that he's very integrated into society so he knows how to act and stuff. Maybe the arcanine species just developed better social skills to make hunting easier or something.
