pizza and champagne
last night was just one of those nights that cooking something (even something easy) just seemed like too much effort after a long week and a bad day. So e and I actually developed a craving for pizza (and I mean take out pizza, not the tasty pizza we normally make for ourselves). So we searched around for somewhere to order from, and ended up ordering from Avanti pizza in Menlo Park. For some reason we ordered 2 large pizzas (I guess we thought we were really hungry), but when the pizzas came, we only at a slice of each type (1. chicken, artichoke and pesto & 2. jalepenos, salami, and mushrooms). Now we have super pizza leftovers to finish in the next several days *sigh*
it was good to have pizza though. We popped open a bottle of good champagne, ate our pizza, and watched Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, a musical I watched over and over as a child. I kept pointing out things e should put in his musical with minger.
In other news, I broke the needle on my sewing machine and thought I'd have to wait for ever to order new ones, but apparently I had a case of extra ones. I'm making a neat tank top with a corset tie back, if you're watching my blogger feed, I'll post pics of it when I'm done.
