Squee!
I got it! Firefly: The Official Companion--Volume 1 is mine! Found it on the shelf at Books-a-Million today, last copy, and it's mine all mine! *evil laugh*
And it's so shiny! There are mini-bios of all the main actors, scripts for StP through OMR, pictures of props, descriptions of costumes, tidbits of gossip, and so much more!
My 'shippers heart skipped a beat when I opened it, and, on the back of the title page, there it is--a picture of the cast, in costume, and Mal/Nathan's got his hand wrapped around Simon/Sean's shoulder! Squee!!!
In the prop pic department there's a pic of Inara's Companion Papers and Book that should be readable, once I get new glasses. *g* And, the one that made me laugh, pics of Serenity's ship papers stating Malcolm Reynolds is Captain through a trust agreement with The Olympia National Bank, Olympia, STATE OF WASHINGTON! Hee! Gotta love the prop people who use things they never expect anyone else to actually look at!
On a side note, I also finally found a copy of Serenity, the graphic novel, on the shelf, and, for better or worse, I also now own it. *g* It's smaller than I expected. Thought it would be about 8.5"x11", but it's only 6"x8". Guess I never read the small print. *g*
Anyways, I am one happy fangirl. Now if only Sean &/or Nathan will come to Booster Bash 2 next year...
