Blog laziness

Hi.  I haven't been on here in a while or anywhere online for that matter, which is unusual as I normally spend every free second of my life on the Internet.

I have a problem with blogging- I think of something I want to mention here,  think through what I want to say  then move on and do something else never actually writing about whatever topic it was.  Consequently, I feel like I journal much more than I do, and I sometimes neglect to write anything for ages.

Moving away from my psychosis, here's some things I've been thinking about lately:

The Firey Cross by Diana Gabaldon(book 5 of the Outlander series)- I'd forgotten how much I adore this series. I read the first four over the summer before Harry Potter came out. I planned to read the next two, but Harry came out,  then Eclipse, then school started back and then I asked for them for Christmas and had to wait to get them. Anyway, they're amazing and so delightfully long. I was worried that The Firey Cross would be disappointing because I didn't enjoy the fourth book, Drums of Autumn, as much as the first three. It was good just not as incredible as the original trilogy, and I assumed the story would continue downhill. But I have been pleasantly surprised to find that I was wrong and that The Firey Cross is a marvelous book, possibly as wonderful as the first three, if perhaps a little less romanticly focused. In summation: I love these books, all of them. They are thousands of pages of awesome.
1984 by George Orville- I have to choose an essay topic for this book. I'm currently leaning toward "In what ways might Winston's fatalistic streak contribute to his ultimate downfall?" or the several questions about Room 101. I don't know. I'm not looking forward to writing it.
The JK Rowling vs. RDR lawsuit- I always enjoyed Steve Vander Ark on PotterCast's Canon Conundrums, but this whole thing seems ridiculous and sad. I'm shocked by the arrogance of both Steve and RDR in all of this. At any rate, it doesn't look like they have a prayer.
Project Runway- I'm upset Kit got kicked off. It doesn't seem fair- she's never been in the bottom before. I don't know how that guy who wears the hat(I can't remember his name) is still  there. He has had the worst oufit, in my opinion, several times and yet, there he is.
Grey's Anatomy- Over Christmas, I watched my cousin's DVDs of seasons one and two, and I am now pretty angry with the actor who plays Burke for getting himself fired and ruining my favorite couple. I'm not overly attached to Meredith. She's a bit emo and she and McDreamy just go around in circles. But I really enjoy it, for the most part. It's very funny and sad at times. This is due at least partially I am convinced, to Marti Noxon who writes for it. She wrote some of the wonderfully dramatic Buffy episodes(like when Oz leaves, I know she wrote that one) that I love.  I haven't seen much of seasons three or four and I'm not sure I want to. I just don't think I could stomach Izzy/George.(Seriously? what were they thinking?) They were so great as friends.
The OC- I'm almost done with season three and am still amused. I'm glad they left their standard something-shocking-and-humiliating-will-be-revealed-at-an-important-formal-event plot device behind, but I don't particularly like the random, absurd story lines they are now employing. Worst of all, Seth and Sandy both seemed to have lost their humor.
Once Soundtrack- I got it for Christmas and have been listening to it off and on(it's a CD you have to be in the correct mood to listen to) quite a bit. The songs are all incredible. I can't really explain why I love it so much. Maybe it's the acousticness.
