Snowflake Challenge day 2

ok, ok... a little late, but well, my work was sort of busy since I forgot my digital pen today. stupid me.

Anyway...

Day 2

In your own space, post a rec for at least three fanworks that you did not create. Drop a link to your post in the comments. See if you can rec fanworks that are less likely to be praised: tiny fandoms, rare pairings, fanworks other than stories, lesser known kinks or tropes. Find fanworks that have few to no comments, or creators new to a particular fandom and maybe aren't well known or appreciated. Appreciate them.

Since I always, always end up reccing popslash, I decided to go against the norm and rec fics from fandoms where I lurk. A lot.

On Tuesday by nightwalker. Castle, and Ryan/Esposito to booth. Which are so a OTP that my best friend who has no slashgoogles at all had to admit that yes, they are so together. And this fic, from the point of view of Richard Castle, bestseller writer and police tagalong, is wonderful since it captures both Castle and the precint so perfectly, it could very well be an episode of the series. Which btw, also means that yes, if you haven't seen the series, you still can enjoy this fic.

The Psychic Case Files by gryvon. Psych. I love Psych, Shawn, Gus, Lassiter, and Jules... and the whole package. But the type of fics I really love the most are the ones when Shawn suddenly finds himself with real psychic powers. especially if he doesn't know how to deal with them. Sure, it is also Shawn/Lassiter, and I totally love that too, but the fics could be gen and still be equally good.

The Uncool kind of Zombie Apocalypse by Kris. Eureka. Other thing I adore with the strenght of a thousand suns are zombies. I love a good zombie story, the goriest the better, but I also love a good humor story, and this one has it all. Due to Eureka's plot, the whole 'little town filled with mad genius' I'm actually surprised this haven't come up yet. Sure, I have lost some interest on the series due to the lack of my beloved Nathan Stark in the last seasons, but it's still amazing. And if you love zombies, you will love this one.
