Fred didn't realize how tightly she was holding on to Angel's arm until she felt her fingernails push through his skin and he jumped a little. She gave him an apologetic look and was about to say something when she heard commotion from in front of them. She turned to look and felt her world start to spin out of control.
Wesley was standing there. Wesley was aliveEverything around her went silent as she stared at him, her stomach flipping and tears rolling down her face. Fred took a small step forward but stopped when she heard Sam let out a tiny sob. She tore her eyes away from Wesley and looked at their son, who was holding his arms out for her. Without hesitation, she took Sam from Angel's arms and held him to her body

Everything went quiet. Of course, the world could have ended right then and there, and Wesley wouldn't have noticed anything except for the people standing in front of him. Fred. Angel. Sam. He looked at his son in amazement as Fred took him into her arms. Oh God, how he had grown. Would he even recognize him? Would he even know who he was?
He heard Angel's saying something about knowing the bomb was going to take out the Hyperion. Thank God, he thought, watching as slowly, the three of them moved forward. Part of him was still afraid if he moved, they would disappear, and he would be waking up from yet another dream.
Then they were there, and Fred was touching her. Oh God...
She was there. Angel was there. They were real, not a dream

Angel held onto Wesley tightly as they embraced. He was alive and well, and right there. Everything he'd felt the day he thought he'd died, washed away. He wasn't died. He was very much alive and so warm. His Wesley had returned to him and he promised himself to never let him, or Fred, go again

Wesley hadn't intended to kiss Angel, but in the moment it had seemed right, and when Angel responded, deepening the kiss, it felt even more so. When they broke apart, he found himself suddenly a bit out of sorts, worried about Fred thought about what the two of them had just done. However, before he could look at her, Angel was touching his cheek, telling him that he loved him and her, wanted to be with them

Angel was relieved that Wesley felt the same way about him. He'd been so afraid he'd lose the both of them earlier, but now he had them in his life. "It's good to have you back. Now Fred'll have a research partner. I'm not so good with the books," Angel said with a sheepish look as Fred giggle and nodded in agreement
( ... )
Wesley smiled when Angel mentioned that he wasn't very good with books, which was true but if he was, he wouldn't be Angel. Fred, on the other hand, was the most wonderful research partner he'd ever had, and having her back would help more than he could even say. That was part of the reason why he loved both of them - they brought different things to his life

Angel was glad Fred had gotten rid of the Lux people. It wasn't because he didn't want to be with Wesley and Fred - he just wanted them gone so he could pull the sash off. And he tried, but for some reason it wouldn't budge. It was like it was sewn on to him, and that worried him...a lot. Suddenly, Fred was taking his hand and he blinked at the both of them.
"What? Are we getting married and having sex?" he asked, sure that was what was being discussed.
"Less playing with your sash, and more paying attention, sweetie," Fred said as she winked at Wesley.
"But...it's yellow!" Angel protested as Wesley took his hand. He looked at the other man and smiled, forgetting about the yellow sash for a moment. "We can take as much time as needed. There's no rush." He then paused for a moment. "I'm not going to have to wear a yellow suit, am I
( ... )
"That's the whole point - the people here don't want us to wait," Wesley said with a small snort before letting them go to pick Sam back up when he tugged at his trouser leg. "I'm not going to let them push us though. We'll make the decision on our own time
( ... )
"Huh?" Angel asked when Fred and Wesley walked over to him. They were saying something about his skin and hair, but he wasn't paying much attention. He just wanted to get the sash off and couldn't understand why it seemed to be stuck there. Turning, he looked at the other two and furrowed his brow. "But, I'm really pale and my hair looks like a rag mop!"
Fred merely shook her head before she took Angel's hand as they followed Wesley and Sam up to Wesley's room. When they got there, Angel glanced out the window, where he could see the village. Everyone there was wearing bright colors and his eyebrows rose. Maybe, since he was royalty, they would make him wear the oranges, yellows, reds and blues. Shaking his head, he pulled at his sash again and grinned when it came off

Wesley nodded as he listened to Fred telling him about their son. He still took a bottle before bed, so that hadn't changed, but he had graduated to some regular food. He'd have to find out what from her later so he could make sure that the kitchen had at least something close enough that Sam could eat
( ... )
After Sam was down on the bed, Fred followed Wesley to the other room. She noted the look of...fright on Angel's face when Wesley said everyone there wore bright clothes. She was sure Angel would have to get use to all the colors, if they were going to stay there
