Everything went quiet. Of course, the world could have ended right then and there, and Wesley wouldn't have noticed anything except for the people standing in front of him. Fred. Angel. Sam. He looked at his son in amazement as Fred took him into her arms. Oh God, how he had grown. Would he even recognize him? Would he even know who he was?

He heard Angel's saying something about knowing the bomb was going to take out the Hyperion. Thank God, he thought, watching as slowly, the three of them moved forward. Part of him was still afraid if he moved, they would disappear, and he would be waking up from yet another dream.

Then they were there, and Fred was touching her. Oh God...

She was there. Angel was there. They were real, not a dream.

Choking back a hoarse cry, he wrapped his arms around Fred when she embraced him, burying his face against her hair. "I never thought I'd ever get you back," he told her, his voice rough. "I thought you'd been taken from me."

The kiss between them was too brief - he wanted to kiss her deeply, taste her again, feel the thrill he always got - but he knew that now was the time. Instead, he reveled in feeling her soft lips on his again for a moment, knowing that with her there, really there, they'd have time for that.

He almost whimpered at the loss of her when she pulled away, only to have her replaced in his arms a moment later by Angel. Wesley felt his heart skip for a moment as he pressed against him, flashes of the dream running through his mind. He was there. Both of them. He had both of them back. Nothing else mattered. He had both of them and his son there.

"I thought I was dead too," he told him, feeling himself leaning slightly into Angel's lips on his neck. "Then I woke up here, and by the time I recovered and tried to get to you, it was too late... They told me you were gone, so I stayed here."

Reaching over he tugged Fred back over and pulled her to him to kiss again, unable to wait anymore, needing more from her. It was long, slow and sweet, and when they came up for air, it was only because they had to. Then he nudged Angel up to look in his eyes.

"I've missed both of you so much," he whispered before finding himself kissing Angel as well.

Angel held onto Wesley tightly as they embraced. He was alive and well, and right there. Everything he'd felt the day he thought he'd died, washed away. He wasn't died. He was very much alive and so warm. His Wesley had returned to him and he promised himself to never let him, or Fred, go again.

He pulled back a little when Wes tugged Fred over to them. Angel watched them kiss, thinking how beautiful they were together. His Fred and his Wesley. Things were going to be okay now that all of them were together again.

Suddenly, Angel felt Wesley nudging his face up and he looked the other man in the eyes. "Me too, Wes," he said before leaning into the kiss. He'd waited for this for so long and now he had it. Tilting his head a little, Angel returned the deep kiss, his tongue carefully sliding into Wesley's mouth. He wanted to kiss him forever but knew he knew Wesley had to breathe.

"Wesley," Angel said as he broke the kiss. He leaned his head against the other man's forehead and softly touched his cheek. "I want you to know that...I love Fred and I love you. Both of you. I've missed you so much. Things weren't complete without you there with us. I want to be with both of you."

"I feel the same. I love the both of you so much and I want to be with the two of you," Fred softly said as she cuddled against the both of them.

After a few moments, she pulled back, wanting to introduce Sam to his other father. Fred smiled down at their son and then looked up at Wesley. "Sweetie? This is your daddy," she whispered as she pointed toward Wesley.

"Dada," Sam said, his tiny hand patting Wesley's arm. He then looked at Angel and started to pat his arm too. "Dada."

"Yes, both of them," Fred said as she looked up at Wesley. She then slipped Sam into his arms, knowing Wesley would want to meet his son again.

Wesley hadn't intended to kiss Angel, but in the moment it had seemed right, and when Angel responded, deepening the kiss, it felt even more so. When they broke apart, he found himself suddenly a bit out of sorts, worried about Fred thought about what the two of them had just done. However, before he could look at her, Angel was touching his cheek, telling him that he loved him and her, wanted to be with them.

And Fred agreed.

"The two of you...?" Wesley asked softly, looking back and forth between them. Of course, it made sense. He had always known how Fred had felt about Angel - after all, he was the one to save her live in Pylea. And before he had been told they had died, he had been sure Angel was watching over her.

Glancing over at the Lux who were watching them, Wesley found them smiling at them, a few of them whispering. He knew what they had to be saying and felt himself flushing a bit with warmth. But he knew his feelings were nothing to be ashamed of, especially not here. Not in this society. In fact, here was probably the one place they could be open and not be judged.

Was this one of the reasons he had been told the three of them needed to be there?

"I...I want that too," he told them softly, looking back at them. "I didn't realize until recently how much I love you as well, Angel. Now, both of you are here, and I...I feel like everything might be right again."

When Fred introduced him to Sam, Wesley felt his throat tighten again, seeing how much his little boy had grown from the last time he had seen him. He had missed so much, and he worried that he wouldn't believe Fred. But instead, he reached out to touch him, called him "Dada." Him and Angel.

And even though he had missed so much, he found that he couldn't be upset with that. Sam had had a father...and that was all he had wanted for his son.

Taking Sam from Fred, he held him so he could look down into his small face. "Hello, Sam. I'm...it's...I'm so glad to see you again. I've missed you so much."

The little boy put his hand up on his cheek, rubbing across the stubble there briefly before pulling back. "Yuck!"

At that, Wesley chuckled, realizing he had just learned something about his son. "I guess he doesn't like beard stubble."

Angel was relieved that Wesley felt the same way about him. He'd been so afraid he'd lose the both of them earlier, but now he had them in his life. "It's good to have you back. Now Fred'll have a research partner. I'm not so good with the books," Angel said with a sheepish look as Fred giggle and nodded in agreement.

The both of them stepped back a little, smiling as Wesley got to know Sam again. They laughed when Sam made his comment about Wesley's stubble. "I guess someone will have to shave, won't they Sam?" Fred asked as Angel looked around, noticing two people approaching them.

"Welcome to Oriens," One of them said as they bowed a little to Fred and him. "We've been waiting for the two of you, just like the Scholar Prince has. You two are royalty also. A prophecy speaks of three, who will come and change the way we live - for the better."

The other one stepped up and put a yellow sash over Angel's shoulders and a red one over Fred's. "From this point on, Winifred will be known as the Mage Princess and Angel will be known as the Champion Consort," he said as he bowed his head. "It is a great day for the Lux people. We shall celebrate once both suns have set." He then paused and looked at the three of them. "Will you three be sharing a room then? Shall we call a magistrate to perform the ceremony?"

Angel, who'd been eyeing the yellow sash, jerked his head up. "What ceremony?" he asked, furrowing his brow.

"Oh, in our land a female is allowed to have two husbands. It only seems fit for the Princess to marry the Prince and Champion," he answered.

"But, I'm a vampire and--."

"With all due respect, you become much more than a vampire when you entered our world," the man said before looking at Fred. "Princess, if it is your will to take both men as your husbands, we shall start a ceremony for you."

"Oh, well, do you think I could maybe have some time alone with them so all of us can discuss it?" Fred asked.

"Of course," the man said as he started to usher the other Luxes out of the room.

Wesley smiled when Angel mentioned that he wasn't very good with books, which was true but if he was, he wouldn't be Angel. Fred, on the other hand, was the most wonderful research partner he'd ever had, and having her back would help more than he could even say. That was part of the reason why he loved both of them - they brought different things to his life.

"I haven't had a chance to shave today," he told them. "Takes a bit longer than it used to since I have to use a Lux blade."

That reminded him that he needed to explain a few things to them about Lux and what to expect. But before he could suggest that they go up to his rooms for some privacy, Henrae and Stefani were there, telling Angel and Fred they were royalty and talking about a ceremony. Wesley tried to motion to them to stop, but it was difficult with Sam in his arms.

"Really, that's not--," he tried to say, but he wasn't heard as Henrae explained the custom of three Luxes marrying and then asked Fred if she wished it be done.

Thankfully, Fred asked if they could have some privacy, and soon they were left alone. Sighing, Wesley shook his head and then turned to them, giving them an apologetic look.

"I'm sorry. I was hoping that we'd get a chance to talk so I could explain a few things about the customs here, but it seemed that the others had other ideas."

"What's all this about women having two husbands?" Fred asked, reaching over to take Angel's hand away from the sash he had been toying with and hold it.

"You haven't seen enough of this land to know, but women are vastly outnumbered by men. Not sure why, but it's the way it's worked out. To keep the gene pool stable, threesome marriages have developed, and because of the high level of male-male interaction, all males here are bisexual. If two males are together, they'll often find a female they both love to marry, and if a male and female are together, they'll find a second male they both fall in love with. It's quite an interesting dynamic...and very open." Sam started squirming, so Wesley looked over at Fred, who nodded, and he placed him on to floor so he could explore a little bit.

"The people who help me here in the castle have been wanting me to marry for months now, but of course...I didn't want to marry just anyone," he explained. "I think they thought that since you've arrived, and we're obviously in love with each other, we'd be willing."

He moved closer to them, taking each of their hands, so all three of them were standing together, joined. "But we just found each other again. I don't want you to feel you have to do anything you're not ready for."

Angel was glad Fred had gotten rid of the Lux people. It wasn't because he didn't want to be with Wesley and Fred - he just wanted them gone so he could pull the sash off. And he tried, but for some reason it wouldn't budge. It was like it was sewn on to him, and that worried him...a lot. Suddenly, Fred was taking his hand and he blinked at the both of them.

"What? Are we getting married and having sex?" he asked, sure that was what was being discussed.

"Less playing with your sash, and more paying attention, sweetie," Fred said as she winked at Wesley.

"But...it's yellow!" Angel protested as Wesley took his hand. He looked at the other man and smiled, forgetting about the yellow sash for a moment. "We can take as much time as needed. There's no rush." He then paused for a moment. "I'm not going to have to wear a yellow suit, am I?"

Before they could answer, Sam started to whine and rub his face against his Wesley's shoulder. "That means he's tired. He should be in bed now. Guess he has to get used to the time difference," Fred said as she rubbed her son's back. "Do you have someplace I can put him so he can sleep?"

While Fred was talking to Wesley, Angel slipped away in hopes of finding something to get the sash off. Across the room was a set of mirrors, and to his amazement, he could see himself. "Hey! I can see myself here too!" he said, grinning at Wes and Fred before he turned around again.

He studied himself in the mirror and frowned a little. Why hadn't anyone told him that he had the same hair he'd had in Pylea? And the yellow sash was making him look pale! "Look at me!" he said as he turned around. "I have ugly hair and my skin is white!"

"That's the whole point - the people here don't want us to wait," Wesley said with a small snort before letting them go to pick Sam back up when he tugged at his trouser leg. "I'm not going to let them push us though. We'll make the decision on our own time.

He was about to tell Angel about the fact that all Lux clothes were bright - most of his were a very bright shade of blue - but Sam started making noises, worrying Wesley that he had done something wrong. He hadn't been there; he wouldn't know what he should and shouldn't do. Luckily, Fred was there, explaining that he was just tired, causing him to exhale slightly in relief.

"Let's take him up to my rooms. We can put him down on my bed for the time being, and while figure out...living arrangement and everything once we've--you've had a chance to rest. I know this has to be overwhelming." He looked over toward Angel to see that he probably hadn't heard anything he had just said because he was staring into the mirror. Wesley looked over at Fred, chuckling and shaking his head as they walked over.

"Angel, last I knew, you're a vampire, and vampire are all rather pale what with the no sunlight rule," he told him, reaching out to pull him away from the mirror. "You look like you should. You look like Angel."

"And your hair is fine," Fred told him. "Although if we're royalty here, I'm sure we can find someone willing to cut it."

Wesley nodded, leading them upstairs to his rooms. Once they were inside, he took Sam toward the bedroom. "We can put him down in here, surround him with pillows to make sure he doesn't fall off the bed," he said before stopping and looking over at Fred. "Does he need anything before we do? A bottle? Food? Does he eat regular food now?"

"Huh?" Angel asked when Fred and Wesley walked over to him. They were saying something about his skin and hair, but he wasn't paying much attention. He just wanted to get the sash off and couldn't understand why it seemed to be stuck there. Turning, he looked at the other two and furrowed his brow. "But, I'm really pale and my hair looks like a rag mop!"

Fred merely shook her head before she took Angel's hand as they followed Wesley and Sam up to Wesley's room. When they got there, Angel glanced out the window, where he could see the village. Everyone there was wearing bright colors and his eyebrows rose. Maybe, since he was royalty, they would make him wear the oranges, yellows, reds and blues. Shaking his head, he pulled at his sash again and grinned when it came off.

"He usually drinks a bottle before bed," Fred told Wes as Angel walked over to them and started to pile pillows on the bed so the little boy wouldn't fall off. "But he's pretty much wiped out and will probably eat later. And he does eat some regular food."

"He likes to throw it too," Angel said, shaking his head. He bent down and opened Sam's diaper bag and pulled out a plush bear. "Remember when we got this, Wes?" He still laughed sometimes, remembering how they'd went out to get a few things, only to come back to find a pissed off Fred in labor. No demon compared to Fred at that moment, especially since Wes had forgotten his cell phone at the hotel and Angel was still learning how to turn his on.

Fred reached over and took the teddy bear from Angel's hand. "He likes to sleep with it," she told Wesley as she placed it on the bed. She then looked at Angel again. "Did you take off your sash?"

"It, uh, fell off," Angel said, while Fred snorted and shook her head. He shrugged a little and looked at Wesley. "Does everyone here wear bright clothes?"

Wesley nodded as he listened to Fred telling him about their son. He still took a bottle before bed, so that hadn't changed, but he had graduated to some regular food. He'd have to find out what from her later so he could make sure that the kitchen had at least something close enough that Sam could eat.

Holding Sam against him with one arm, Wesley finished helping Fred and Angel pile pillows around to create a makeshift crib. Then he looked over at Angel as he pulled out the bear, a small smile crossing his face.

"I remember." That night had been the scariest and most amazing moment of his life. His son had been born in the hotel because there had been no time to take Fred to the hospital once they returned. He had been worried about screwing things up - both with the birth and as a father. But Fred and Angel had both been there with him every step of the way.

Putting Sam down on the bed, Wesley smirked at Angel. "Those sashes have a mind of their own - seems once you put them on, you can only take them off in private. Never had been able to figure out why other than possibly to avoid embarrassing wardrobe malfunctions."

Wesley gently brushed Sam's hair back from his forehead before leaning down to kiss his forehead. He then pointed to the sitting room so they could let him get some sleep.

"To answer your question, yes, everyone here wears bright colors. From what I've been able to learn, it's a superstition of sorts. They believe colors reflect the state o the soul, so the brighter the colors, the brighter the soul." Wesley watched as Fred took a seat - he was going to have to either get some new furnishings or see if there was a larger set of rooms somewhere in the castle. "I'm still learning everything myself. As you can see, there's a lot to go through."

He pointed to the pile of books on the table. He pushed over a few and hitched himself on the edge, looking at both of them, not sure what to do or say. He wanted to hold them and kiss them and love them, but he also knew there a lot for them to talk about.

"I...erm...I'm not sure where to start at all," he admitted. "Other than...I'm--seeing the two of you again is probably the most wonderful thing I could have wished for."

After Sam was down on the bed, Fred followed Wesley to the other room. She noted the look of...fright on Angel's face when Wesley said everyone there wore bright clothes. She was sure Angel would have to get use to all the colors, if they were going to stay there.

"I'm not going to wear bright colors," Angel stubbornly said.

Fred smirked and shook her head. She looked over at Wesley and went to stand near him. She still couldn't believe he was alive and right there. Reaching out, she took his hand and gave him a small smile. She then reached out and took Angel's hand and tugged him over to where Wesley and her were standing.

Leaning up, she softly kissed Wesley, before turning to kiss Angel. "We really don't have to talk," she suggested as she looked at the two of them. A blush then rose over her face and she ducked in embarrassment. "I-I've never done this before."

She felt Angel's hand run down and back and over her ass. "I think we can figure it out as we go," he said before he looked over at Wesley. "I'm sure Wes and I can figure out what to do with you."

Fred felt a shudder go through her body and she let out a low moan as Angel sandwiched her between Wesley and him. "Oh god...need the both of you," she whispered.
