a question 4 the pagan
And pls pardon me if I sound like a stupid ass or even rude... But this time of year casts a spell on me... At first harvest time it starts... I long 4 and crave the fall. Something happens 2 me then that I can't explain... Can anyone tell me where I could find books not on rites but about lore, history, etc.?? AND when one does a ritual does one really evoke that god or goddess?
Last year at the autumn equinox, I spoke out loud to what I thought wuz just a symbol... Persephone has been a symbol 2 me of my bipolar, split self. My underworld and my spring time song. But after speaking, something happened. I felt immediately detached and almost invaded. It lasted for a few days... I cannot get truly peaceful now while at my sis apt where I spoke some words.... Did I bring something bad in? Or have I just 2 big an imagination 4 my own good?!?
