Happy Sunday
I'm happy to say that I actually made it to church this morning. I went to an Evangelical Free church called Grace, and today's focus was on Worship and missions. We would sing a few praise songs, then someone would speak about a missions trip they had been on or were going to be going on, and it was a blessing to hear what they had to say.
Later today I will be going to a house group where a group of people get together to talk and have fun and to pray. It has been a great blessing for me to have this to go to, because otherwise I would not be as socially active as I would like to be. Getting myself involved in things like that does not come easy for me.
My time in Lynchburg is coming to an end, at least for now, and I will certainly miss everyone. I will miss the kids I have come to love that I work with, and will miss the friends that I have made while here. But, I am also ready to move on, and I'm really looking forward to my upcoming trip to Budapest. It is only a little over two months away! I can't believe how soon it will be that I am there. I'm starting to get a nervous, but in a good and normal kind of nervous. I often wonder about the people I will meet, where I will be living and where I will be going for the other three months of the trip. I'm ok with not knowing all that yet.
Now.. I must go to Sam's Club with a friend. Wish I had some extra money to spend while there, but I'll just have to be ok with looking. : (
