What a weekend!
As with every weekends end, I always feel like I didn't get enough done. Even though this weekend I worked my butt off until almost 2 each night.
Gaby's birthday was Friday. So Saturday we spent the day cleaning her room and then painted the walls. For one of her presents she got new curtains to match her bedroom set that she got for Christmas and the paint I bought. It turned out amazing. I'm gonna try to get some pics up on facebook soon and I will post the link. So by the time I was done painting and putting her room back together so she could sleep, it was very late. She didn't mind staying up late because she got a Wii game as a gift too and her and daddy were having a good time playing it.
Sunday I put some finishing touches on her room. Matt helped me by installing a ceiling fan and I put up the neat curtain rods and curtains. Then we put all her stuff back on her shelves and such. Then I scrubbed the bathrooms and had the kids pick up their room. Then we got the bright idea since all the stuff was out to paint, why not go ahead and paint the upstairs hallway and stairwell? Well that didn't get done until 2 last night.
So today, no painting (thank god). We went grocery shopping. We traded out the winter clothes for the stored summer clothes in the attic for the kids (that took FOREVER!). Then we barbequed some brats and had a good dinner. Think the rest of the night is gonna be me on my butt in front of the tv
