Let me say this.
This weekend was what I needed.  As strange as it seemed...it was too good to be true (minus the negatives, but let's not get into that) . ^_^

Monday:
Sean picked me up from the train station. Was an hour late (eegaw! Sorry Sean!), but it was ok. We drove around Royal Oak trying to find the nearest Secretary of State so I could renew my license, which was a lot quicker than I thought.  Left, and went to the Original Pancake house and had the delicious Dutch Baby that I haven't had in the longest time. DELISH!!  Afterwards, we went to Borders and just chatted for who knows how long. Haven't had those chats with Sean in a long time, so it was really nice. We went off to my new house where I showed him around, and had a bite to eat with my mom.  I was cool, despite the fact that my mom was clearly disappointed in me at times, but Sean cooled it down. Thanks man, ^_~  We ended the night by watching Chuck and Larry. HILARIOUS movie.

Tuesday:
Spent the whole day at home, watched TV (which I haven't done in FOREVER), played with my granny, chatted it up with her for a bit, and then helped my mom plant a bit. I relaxed on the new deck my parents put up in the backyard, and called people telling them I was in MI.  I got a hold of Katy (yay!) and made plans with her that night.  It was soo great seeing her after GOD knows how long, and it was just really refreshing to be myself.  Met her bf, who is quite the awesome person (got along with him almost immediately), and got to see the life of Katy, heehee. All in all, a great day, with a great friend.

Wednesday:
My birthday!  ^_^ Spent the start of the day with my mom. She made my favorite dish, and man was it good. I loved it soo much, too bad I couldn't have more of it, :(  She then trimmed my bangs a bit (she cut them the night before, haha. Talk about compulsive) and we went shopping.  Met up with Paul at Orchard and 14, and were well off to the mall to recapture fond memories we had, ^_^.  Just walking, and driving around was blissful enough, and it made me feel relaxed.  I love reliving the past, and that's exactly what we did that day. We went to the pet store and petted bunnies (I got scratched on my boob, and Paul got scratched pretty bad on his knuckle), went to GameStop, and complained about the changes they made to the mall. I'm glad I got to spend some alone time with Paul. It made the day so much better.

Sean showed up around 6:30, and then we met up at Olive Garden for dinner. AMAZING food, and Sean went out by buying us expensive ass bread! (haha, inside joke).  It was really cool, having my best friend and my boyfriend and I sitting down to talk and just hang out. Thanks to Paul though, our food came in later than we hoped (thanks a LOT hun, ;P ), and little did i know, the waitresses came out with a chocolate cake and sang to me. Haha, it was embarrassing, but still fun at the same time. We then went to the Fountain Walk to go Glow Put-Putting, which was one of my favorite parts of the day.  We fooled around and just had an all around great time. Finally we made our way to Lucky's, in which I could go in, since I was 21, ^_^. Had my first ID check, and was let in. Haha, that was my moment. We just chilled there and watched Paul play his games, and his Testies (another inside joke). Dan called later to meet up and we played pool, which i totally sucked at.  I was on a team with Paul, and both games we lost after almost winning both, hahaha. It's ok hun, I forgive you. This also marked one of my favorite moments. Paul left after our last game, so we walked him out. Wish he could have stayed longer, but that would have killed him, :( .  After he left, we went back in and just sat at the bar and ordered stuff. Sean and I shared this drink he got (got something with jolly ranchers, pop candy and peach schnaupps, and some other stuff) and Dan and I got a pizza.  Both really good, and no I did not get drunk. I just wanted to experiment.  Basically spent the whole time there talking about the good ol' times, our boob sizes, and about Paul, haha. Later on, we went to Dans house to watch Harold and Kumar, but I spent most of the time trying to get kitty to sit on my lap. Mission failed, although she did jump on my boob. Hung out with them until 4:30 and left. Got home about 5ish, and went straight to packing. Did not sleep at all! Haha, although I did sleep the whole way back home.

Other than that, I had a GRAND time, and I'm glad that I have friends like this to keep me going. I'm more glad that the most important person in my life (*ahem* Paul) has met all of the other important people in my life finally, ^_^

This marks as one of the best birthdays I have ever had, and thank you all. It's something I will cherish and remember for the rest of my life.
