For the last few days we have had persistent lake effect squalls. Usually they are hit and miss but not this time. The winds have consistently the right direction and we get hammered with lots of the white stuff. We probably have a foot or more just hard to tell with it blowing around.

I got bored and decided to play with my cat and test the video recording feature on my camera which caught me encouraging Kasey to kill his toy.

The weather conditions right now

Not going into work/it was closed because road and weather conditions are not nice for a county airport to operate and nobody is flying in this weather except MedEvac Helicopters and commercial traffic.

So I am hunkering down and watching dvds and maybe write fic ideas down while watching a certain cheesy 80s movie ( Read more... )

It finally slowed down snowing for a while. We had a total of 18 inches over four days.

I decided to post some pictures of the crazy weather Ohio has dealt with.

First 1/4 to 1/2 inches of ice and no power than 3 days later 12 inches or more of snow.

Sometime I hate my state.
