Later I will balance out this negative statement with a positive one, but I've been meaning to share it for awhile. I HATE people who move too quickly in revolving doors. It's DANGEROUS. I experience this annoyance quite a lot at work because we are pretty much required to enter and exit the building through the aforementioned doors. Yesterday I almost died. Seriously. If you know me at all, you know I walk fast. Very fast. It's not like I'm this slow poke who needs to pick up the pace. In fact, I'm often told to slow down. (Whenever I leave my parents' house, my dad says ((yells)): "Emmy, go slow and don't fall down!) Yesterday after clicking through the lobby in my heels at a moderate to rapid pace, I approached the revolving doors when I realized much to my dismay that if I didn't jump and run, the glass was going to hit me in the face.
Revolving doors are a communal effort. This is one instance where how you choose to proceed with caution absolutely affects those around you. So dude from work: Please. Slow down or you're going to give some innocent person a concussion.
