Here is an update on our situation...
Things these days are going quite well. I am typically content and happy, which is good. I was a turd for a while, but I flushed it and I'm "me" again! :)
Work has been going awesome! I've been real busy doing TSMs (Technical Service Manuals) lately, which is both time consuming and fun! It can be a bit tire-ing in the morning hours, though. I guess a biggish piece of news on the work front would be: John, one of my bosses, was taking this new guy around and introducing him to people and showing him the different departments and such and he introduced him to me (which is unusual, considering I never get introduced to new people....they just skip right past my desk) and he said "This is Andrea. She does most our graphic design work. Currently, she is a temp, but I would like to see that as permanent" to which I said "Yeah, that would be great!" and he replied "Yeah, I'm working on it" and that totally made my day! My assignment at Viking Pump was supposed to last a maximum of 3 months, but I have been there over 8 months! I absolutely totally love it, too! But anywho, I am so excited that it could become a permanent position in the possibly-nearish future! Yay! If it does occur, I will definitely celebrate, that is for darn sure! :)
Things with Mike and I are going really well, I feel. Our 2 year anniversary is coming up in a few weeks on the 24th of October. I am super duper excited about it....I can't wait! I got him some totally awesome presents and have one yet to find! Yay!!! :) I love that boy!
I went to the Mall of America this weekend with my parents. It was a crapton of fun! I did some mega shopping and just had a blast shopping and hanging out with my folks! What a wonderful weekend!
I am a member of a website called Simply Sentiments. It is a site for people who make cards and scrapbook and stuff. Anywho, I just signed up for this group called the Secret Sister Swap. It totally rules! I was assigned to a person that I get to send cards and gifts to for the next three months and then someone else was assigned to me and they do the same. What is cool, is that we get to communicate through e-mail. It just started on October 1st, but I am already having a blast! I can't wait to make a card and send it! The swap ends the end of December, which is when the secret sis identities will be revealed. :)
Well, I think that is about it from me for now. I know that practically nobody reads this, but just in case, I figured I should do a quick update on what has been going on in my life. :)
