(no subject)
So, I went to the Dentist today for my yearly mouth tuneup... all is very well and my oral care is better than par, but when the doctor examined a tender spot on the gum I pointed out, he took an x-ray of it and determined that I've got a wisdom tooth that is growing in sideways and slowly coming forth for a wave of destruction. Well, not in those exact words...
So tomorrow I have to see an oral surgeon in the morning and I guess I'll have to take some time off next week if I need to get this sucker taken out. Sigh... I've never been under the knife before and I'm kind of nervous about it. There is a small chance that he'll just have to remove a bit of tissue, but I guess we'll find out more about that tomorrow. Anyone on my list have a wisdom tooth procedure? What's my downtime (I'm guessing 3 days)? Do I get mind-bending drugs?
Katherine is at her brother's 7th birthday party right now... he's SO cute. And I think he's about 10 times smarter than I was at that age. Hopefully she'll call me after the children have crashed from all the candy, cake, and other sugar products. *hint hint* ;)
Anyways, going out to dinner tonight with my parents yet again. I swear, they've become such senior citizens since I've left. They eat out for almost every meal. Not that I'm complaining though ;)
