But the BBC have a nice little test here:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/7773974.stm I actually enjoyed it: it's not supposed to be a test of knowledge, but in general learning ability, so as long as you have some basic grasp of English and Maths this should be a doddle. But I remember trying this for real when I was 10 (yes, I know it's supposed to be an 11 plus exam, but I was born a bit too late in the academic year) and being very nervous. And surprised when I was one of only four in my class that passed and actually went to a Grammar School. I know I'm a few decades older now, but I'd be scared if I had to take any of my 'O' or 'A' Level exams again (those seem to require a lot of memory I don't have any more) but this seems to be more of an IQ test, and I've always excelled at those.
If anyone does try it, particularly if you never took the actual exam, or are from somewhere that never even had it as an option, please let me know what you think. This was an exam that was literally life-changing for me: if I'd failed, I would have gone to a different school, met different people, had teachers with different expectations of my future, etc. I might have been happier if I'd failed: it took another 10 years for me to discover that I don't use my brains in the same way as exam boards want me to do, and started over.
