My family cracks me up.
Just called my mother to give her
the news, and she cut me off all, "Yeah, I just saw it on E!" And then proceeded to describe what they're calling 'the lastest trend' (the vest thing from, like, a three-piece suit -- um, yuck.) That she watches entertainment news before she goes to school? Hilarious, but not shocking. (Ooh! This morning while getting ready, we were all looking at
Practical Magic for, like, no discernible reason. I really adore their house to a frightening degree. And Monday night there was a red ring around the moon and I kept thinking of that movie. I must have prophetic abilities or something!)
What's probably more surprising is that we weren't aware of this sooner. But then, yesterday after work I just went straight home, watched 'Battlestar Galactica' on the pc, and since they were painting the kitchen/living room no one was really watching TV. (And man, just how good and frakking awesome is that show this season? Very, very. Hi, Kara! I love you more than ever, if that's even possible.)
I remember calling my mother and my sister last week or whenever to tell them about
Ryan and Reese and we were all so heartbroken, as opposed to now where we're like FINALLY! Take your unexpectedly adorable kids and get outa there! 'Cause, dude, I shamelessly love me some Britney Spears; and have been listening to 'Overprotected' all week, which I shall now consider as another sign of my prophetical-ness.
ETA: So clearly my newfound powers do not translate to being able to see the present. How else could I have missed that today is
raven_annabelle's birthday? Okay, I'm not completely sure that is it, but in any event, have a wonderful day, dear! &hearts
(Uh, I've recently been watching 'Heroes' under coercion, and now it's growing on me; hence all the crazy wanting-to-be-special talk.)
