What's with the somewhat frequent updates, Nicole? And what's with the talking to myself?
Okay, moving on. I can't believe when I posted on Tuesday, I forgot to mention it that it was exactly one year since my great-grandmother passed away. Elizabeth really was great and always a queen in my eyes. I was so proud to have called her 'grammy' in my little-kid (read: normal :D) voice and 'Liz' whenever I felt like it (she called me Nicodemus *shrugs* We were name-callers) and I glowed when she said nice things to/about me. It may sound weird, but I'd never experienced a death in my family before last year as my grandfather (her son-in-law) died a week after I was born. I have so many memories of her, it's sometimes hard to remember she's not with us still. And you know, it's funny that I didn't remember it here, because there isn't really a day that goes by when I don't think of her.
Oh, and I think I aced the midterm I also mentioned in that post. Not because of that so-called studying though; I came out of the exam telling N that everything I learned in that course, I learned right there in the past three hours. (It was open-book -- I wasn't cheating!)
