soooo last night i went to a mountain goats concert con suzie & some of her friends.
they seemed very nice, and i was impressed that her friend goes to library school and could hold up a conversation about texas country.
however, said friend called suzie a hipster and later told me something along the lines of, "i just met you, but i can guess by the way you are dressed... you're probably a hipster. but you're not douchbaggy!"
i may disagree about the part where i am a douchebag... and the part where i am a hipster.
so i put it out there that suzie and i, despite all of our efforts, may in fact be hipsters. i don't know how i feel about this, but i must agree that i seem to hold the majority of hipster values.
after the show, i went back to the bar at which katie works and had my longest/most interesting conversation of the night (at least in a drinking establishment) with a dude who was wearing a keffiyeh and who i thought was a dead ringer for david from roseanne.
hipster y/n? i think the keffiyeh seals the deal, but i like to think n.
