Really, really disappointed with Lush UK :(

So i just got my UK after holiday order and rushed, super excited, to open it. I remarked that it felt light but didn't think much of it. Until i quickly discovered that my four Snowcakes and two So Whites were not there, along with a letter saying that they were going to refund me the money and that they were out of stock. Ugh. I got my first order today (placed 5) and got only my gift and 3 bars of soap..no invoice either kinda strange but seeing so meny youtube videos im sure its just sent out in 2 boxes.

=( huggles! sucks being excited for something and then come to find out total fail =/

I tried to partake in last year's Lush UK post-holiday sale and it was a fiasco. That was the first time they did the grab bag of freebies with purchase... and their cart system wasn't properly calculating shipping for the heavy freebies. So after I placed two orders, I found out that I might get slammed with $100 in shipping costs because the cart wasn't considering the right weight. I freaked, I cancelled the order, and I went shopping at Lush NA instead. Lush UK was crappy at communicating, and I never found out that my order was definitely cancelled - so I watched my credit card statement for a few more days. Nothing ( ... )

So weird!

Yeah, i'm even more upset because other orders from the UK have been PERFECT. And this one... they never even took the five seconds to email me and say it was out of stock? I probably would have cancelled it altogether with the snowcake i wanted and gone to the store for other things. And i haven't been refunded yet so i have no idea what's going to happen. Ugh.

That's odd- I had something canceled from my UK order and I got a notice that it was canceled and would not be charged. I wrote back asking about the fee stuff and was assured that it would not effect my freebie, Saturday when I got the order, I had an invoice with a note on why my Hot Toddy was not there and the original freebie that I was entitled to even though the cancelation dropped me below the level of it.

I got everything but the freebie and out of stock items... and no refund for those yet (two weeks later...). I emailed them but it seems like they aren't responding to everyone, so I don't know what's going to happen.

Same thing happened to as wren08. I was told two of my items were sold out in a email and I asked about the freebies and they said I was still entitled to them and today my package came and I got them. You should email them and ask about it. They might send it to you? I still haven't been charged even though I got my package, which is odd. I hate waiting for money to be taken out of my account :(. I always think I have more then I do!

Same thing here...my order was charged way less than what it was supposed to be. I emailed and asked if I would get the free item....but no response. And they still have my first charge pending...even though the second (lesser) charge has cleared.

The full amount (including what is out of stock) cleared a long time ago and i haven't been refunded yet... I don't even know.
