first purchase at lush store!

The skincare is wonderful, but can be awkward on some skins, so their sample policy is especially good there - do play around if one thing doesn't seem to work for you! Let's see - what you might like to try are their shower gels, as they last longer, and are really interesting, while still being lovely and soothing on the skin. I love Tramp, for an earthy/androgynous scent, but sniffing around is really the way to go. Another thing I'd suggest for someone new are the body butters - use them in the shower on wet skin (not under the spray, or they melt very fast!) give them a rub on if they have scrubby bits, and rinse off. They can be beautifully moisturising and smoothing, and can just be popped in a soap dish between showers. If your skin isn't too dry, I'd go for You Snap the Whip - it gets black everywhere, but it rinses right off in the shower, and smells incredible.
Finally, if you have some bubble bars you want to try, but don't want to use in one bath, don't be afraid to break them up! The small ones will easily do two or three baths, and the big ones five or six! Ballistics are a bit more extravagant, true, but also blissful for a special occasion.
