KiddieLUSH!
I'm new! I was a LUSH virgin until about a week and a half ago when I got to the Raleigh store with my LJ friends Sarah, Jesycka, and Monika- first time meeting them, first time at LUSH, good times all around. I spent about $150 and now am deeply saddened there's no store near me!
So far, I'm especially pleased with the Soak and Float shampoo bar (I've had bad dandruff issues) and my sample of Ocean Salt scrub. Also Sakura solid perfume and the Fresh Farmacy and Coalface soaps. My skin and hair have really turned around. I need a new conditioner soon- I wasn't impressed with Coolaulin, and I'm thinking of trying American Dream.
Anyway- what I really wanted to post about is my daughter. Rachel's 13 weeks old and has had BAD BAD BAD cradle cap. I did some online research and found out that yes, people are using adult dandruff shampoos on babies to treat this.
So... I've started oiling up her scalp with jojoba oil (from Body Perfumery), using an Ocean Salt scrub to get rid of the flakes, then washing her with Soak and Float. It's WORKING! Beautifully- I've only done it three times, and already she's almost back to having a normal scalp instead of crusty yellow scales.
So... my children are destined to be LUSH divas, probably, and they're only 3 months and 20 months old. Ah well. Now all we need is a store near us.
