#1: I've been using SJG for a few months now and love it. My only problem is that I have sensitive skin and occasionally, the exfoliation is too much and causes some redness/irritation (which, when it meets toner = ouch). I love the way the oils make my skin feel and was wondering if Baby Face is essentially the same oil-wise as SJG or is it

I lurrrve SJG, but I'm on an oral antibiotic for acne, which makes my skin CRAZY sensitive, and I can't use anything scrubby, really. So, I use Ultrabland when my skin feels irritated or when I'm in a rush. But, when I have the time, I've found a way to use my dear SJG with little to no scrubbiness.
I turn the tap on the hottest it will go and put the bar under the water stream for a few seconds until it starts to melt just a bit, turning the water off afterward, of course :D. Then, I rub the bar between my palms to deposit a good amount of the lovely oils and such on them, and I massage my cleanser-covered hands over my face. The exfoliant bits tend not to rub off onto your palms, so cleansing with SJG this way makes it FAR less scrubby.
Again, I turn the tap on the hottest it will go, run a washcloth underneath it until it's soaked, wring out a bit of the excess water, place it on my face, and wipe it clean. I also spray a bit of toner (I'm addicted to Eau Roma because I have loads of redness from current and past acne, and it really does reduce it) on a cotton pad and wipe my face with that, just to remove any excess cleanser than the hot washcloth didn't pick up.
I hope this method works for you!
