Er... bath melts?
In the forums, I kept reading how people cocktailed bath melts with bubble bars and bath bombs. So with my last MO in June, I ordered Elixir, Dreamtime, and Something Wicked This Way Comes.
I have a small tub, so I generally only use 1/3 to 1/2 of things. I tried 1/3 of SWTWC on its own and only lasted 10 minutes. The scent was okay but nothing spectacular. It softened the water a little but it didn't feel particularly moisturizing.
I tried it again, this time 1/3 with 1/3 Bathos. I loved the Bathos but really wasn't able to see the difference the bath melt made, even when I used it on solid on my arms and legs. I used the final 1/3 tonight, cocktailing with 1/3 Bathos and 1/3 French Kiss. Again, it felt like I was only using a combo of Bathos and French Kiss since the water felt the same.
So, what am I doing wrong or am I expecting the wrong result (as in super soft, moisturizing)? I haven't used the Elixir or Dreamtime yet. Any suggestions?
