HELP!!!!!
ok all you brainstormers...we need ideas on how to raise money for my shelter!!!!! there is no reason that al the other shelters in this area have millions...and i mean MILLIONS of dollars!!!! and they put the majority of their animals to sleep....if you don't know, The Plainfield Area Humane Society (where i work) is a non-profit, private organization that it totally run on donations and fundraisers....the problem is that our board of trustees is supposed to run the fundraisers, and suprise suprise, they are all to busy to worry about us. WHY BOTHER BEING ON THE BOARD IF YOU AREN'T GOING TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT MAKING US MONEY!!!!!!!!!! THAT IS YOUR ONLY JOB!!!!!!
So i decided to come to all of you and ask for suggestions on how to make us money....we are in desperate need of new kennels, they were built 60 years ago to hold odgs for 7 days, not to be lived in. We need rooms for the cats to be able to run free and be healthy.We do NOT euthanize our animals because we are out of space, or the animal is not being adopted....fuck we just had a little pit that has been here for 3 years go home!!!! We strongly believe that the animals are here for a reason and that their special person will come in to adopt them
Please, any suggestions you may have to help us raise money,
