my mom and dad's 24 year old cat was hit and killed by a car yesterday...you would think after 24 years, he would have been able to go a nicer way...poor Bubba...he was the meanest cat EVER! but we loved him...i don't remember a time when we didn't have him...i was 7 when he was given to us...for the past 14 years, he refused to come in the house, but he had his little screened porch where we out his blankets and bed and his food...and he would terrorize people as they walked in front of the house...he would jump into any car that had an open window in our driveway...and you wouldn't realize he was there until you, of course, were on your way to wherever you were going...i'm going to miss him biting the shit out of me if i stopped petting him!
