Who is the Devil?
Let's figure it out. If you were the devil, how would you bring about destruction on earth?
First you would have to create a lot of fear. Now there's a clever ways of doing that and stupid ways. You could scare the hell out of everybody and keep them living in pain, but that would be a stupid way. Your clever. You don't want mankind to just experience fear, you want them to become fear itself. So you clue them into the idea that there is a great creator. That there is a hierachy of creation leading up to him, that he judges his creation and we are constantly under his scrutiny, that there is something better. You seperate the creator from his creation and hold him up before man and shake him with wrath. You continue to remind man of all of this throughout the ages. You cause man such great fear that they kill each other and continue to bow to what is greater and better than them. You enjoy it also when men take a stand against your ethics. When a great man like Jesus comes along to preach the unity of creation, that all beings are relative, all holy, you have a simple ploy. You don't object. In fact you promote them, you make a sensation out of them, you put them above others, you make a God of them. So you deteriorate the lesson of their existance.
Who are you?
The devil will cease to exist as our need to speak of him ceases. The devil is a charicature, God a myth. Creation has a consciousness. Fusion is bliss.
