Let's set the scene. We've just finished reading a story called "There's An Alligator Under My Bed." The characters Laurie and Dori are adults. The character Jackson is a two-year old.
Dori: Now that was a make believe story. People don't really have alligators under their beds. That would be silly.
Dori: I have a dog under my bed. What about you Miss Laurie? Do you have an alligator under your bed?
Me: No that's silly. I have some dirty clothes under my bed.
Jackson: Alligators are silly!
Dori: That's right Jackson
Jackson: I have two gorillas under my bed!!
