I'm applying the anti-itch cream as we speak

I'M ALIIIIIVE!!!! >:D

And so I have returned, and not only did I come back with a reminder of why I hate the outdoors, I've also gained -counts- 7 insect bites! That's right, SEVEN! One of which is on my knee and is about the hardness and diameter of a small tennis ball! Yay ~_~ *twitch*

3 days and 2 nights there.

Everyone else had a tent, but because my grandma was with us (too lonely at home) we had to rent a cabin, where it was always practically 10304802390 degrees BELOW ZERO. FREEZING. I'm glad I brought pants. Our site was located waaaaay in the back, probably about two miles. Because we're trying to help the environment and also we were low on gas my friends and I resorted to walking to the lake they called a "beach" and the pool we called "dirty." OMG The pool was sooooo groooosss!!! The water was so cloudy and warm, and dirt and bugs floated around in it, and it was probably no larger than my living room. It reached five feet, and the water felt like it stuck to your skin ;___; the lake felt cleaner. So my friends and I just spent a lot of our time in my cabin playing Boggle, or sitting outside eating while listening to music, or gathered around a small candle and playing with the flame. If I didn't have such great company, it would have all SUCKED SO BADLY.

I really didn't like camping. I hate camping. I don't know why there are people out there who do it for FUN. I can't believe there were people who actually lived at that camp site. How do they stand all the bugs and the dog poo and the rocky grass that feel like knives when you walk on it on your bare feet??? I...don't really like wearing shoes ^^'' I suppose they probably adjusted to all of that and stay inside their houses most of the time where they have Cable TV and stable refrigerators and adjustable AC's.

Urghh. These bug bites itch sooo badly. I'm totally unsuited for outdoor living =w= but would want to anyway when we're living in a technologically advanced society? Nothing's wrong with trees and wildlife and stuff. But to sleep there...pass :P

camping, the outdoors is overrated
