(no subject)
OK last thursday I got into a car accident cause some dude couldnt pay attention and rear ended my ass. Now a little over a week later on saturday I managed to stab myself with a box cutter and ended up having to go to the ER and file a workman's comp claim.
So the nice dr. managed to numb my hand and then proceed to pry around in the opening and stuff it with gauze. the only amusing part to this was the fact that my dad came with me was cracking jokes with me the entire time. Which really helped cause I hating getting shots to number stuff especially when you can feel them moving the needle around.
I also had to get my tetnus shot updated since I can't remember when the last time I did that was. :) But since it has been so long the area where I got my shot has no swelled up.
So at my follow up appt, which took me almost two hours to get seen at the occupational medicine clinic and 10 minutes for the DR. to see me, today the dr told me to keep my wound covered and my hand dry. Which sucks cause I hate trying to bath and I can't take a shower :(
So go back Monday and hopefully by then I will be able to get the sucker with the rest of my body when I take a bath.
