I'll eat a little crow... I last ranted out of frustration and anger with the management at K-site, but things have settled. It's not ALL bad. I miss you! Come back, it's safe to go back in the waters known as the CHLOLLIE thread. No really!

The less things change The more they stay pretty damn good.

• Some good discussions, as always. Really just an awesome thread and great fans.
• Everyone is fun and friendly, if a lot more guarded.

Small improvements Yes you read that right. *shocker*

• Mods are taking things or "recommending" the right threads, making a little effort. One mod has even added her 2 cents to a few posts, kinda in support of Chlollie.
• The board/thread slowed down. Sorry but that's better. I miss the fun chit chat, but it was getting crazy with the race to the next post, the next thread. YMMV.

 Same bullshit, different day But you knew that was coming.

• Still biased with warnings to delete things. I accidently (promise) clicked Clois thread.. spied just long enough to see things on other ships, Lois' clothes.. and other things that in the Chlolie thread are banned.
• Some people get a pass. We've a few lurkers, posters that are not full shippers, or even non-shippers that allege they are Chlollie-friendly, that come in once in a while. Pretty much whatever they post is ok b/c they are high posters (longtime site members) and/or comics fans. And/or are not real shippers, so they're allowed to do the backhanded compliments, the faux support.

The idiotic, assine and just plain dumb Saved the "best" for last.

•  First rule of the Chloe and Oliver Relationship thread: You CANNOT discuss about Chloe and/or Oliver in the Chloe and Oliver relationship discussion thread.  *crickets*
  • Some ridiculous stuff is still considered off topic, the most absurd being the two characters in the ship. Chloe's character progression, from student to reporter to WT, as related to her future with Oliver is very relevant. Ditto anything about Oliver, who he is now and how that plays into his attraction and love for Chloe. I know we sometimes go too far back in time, but still .. it gets silly at times.
• Second rule of the Chlollie relationship thread: You can't discuss Chloe's and Oliver's other relationships, in context of Chlollie's current/future relationship.
  • A post all about Jimmy, and Jimmy/Chloe I could see, but if you take it to the house and bring it back to Chlollie it still doesn't count? I flip flop on the "comparing and contrasting" of 'ships, not wanting to turn it into a "competition." Plus they are different 'ships, and that's the point. But still if you go through why Tess and Oliver did not work in direct relation to Chlollie... it's a gray area, sometimes allowed, others not.
• Third rule of the Chloe and Oliver relationship thread: You cannot discuss the episode counts of the actors portraying Chloe and Oliver. *wrong answer*
  • How many episodes JH has, or how few episodes AM is in, and therefore how little time TPTB have to devote to Chlollie is pretty damn significant to their relationship. IMO.

IDK if I've ever gotten a MOD EDIT (will have to check) but I just miss everyone. A lot of us are still there, holding strong.. but we've gotten spooked. "If we quit now, they win," said Scully once upon a time.

So out of my own selfish interests, I just gotta ask those who are so inclined (and still allowed, miss our banned friends!) to drop by now and then once the season starts and we have more to discuss. Purtty please ;-)
