Just a warning, I'm attempting to destroy the Earth with my mind so I can get out of work early...

I don't want to go into work tonight and cope with bikers and people who don't like bikers and any miscellaneous people who will bother me. If one of you has secretly been wealthy and is looking for a Turtle to run errands now would be a good time to tell me so I can call in dead...

Several hours ahead of schedule at work. Exceedingly tired. Trying to reread Hogfather. Chorus to the song "So What?" keeps running in circles in my head. Am likely blinking an excessive amount.

Over five hours to go. Wooooo!

Spent the evening at my grandmother's 80th birthday party. Saw many people. Too many people. Tired. And now to go into work...

My car would not start this morning. It made evil clicking noises at me. So I had to wait for the AAA battery guy. He cleaned all the yuck off my battery. Then glared at it, because a Toyota Camry Wagon manages to have damn near everything be non-standard from a Camry. But eventually we got the car to make with the go. Got around 7 am to finish clearing stuff away for the carpet guys to take out the old and put in the new. Which got done around 8 pm (which was pretty fast). Watched The Departed on dvd, then went and saw The Last Mimzy (very good, everyone should go see before it leaves the theaters or at least remember to grab it when the dvd comes out).
