Been a few months since I've bought large quantities of food without using the ol' welfare card. Plus that only went for actual "food" so its been a bit since my monthly grocery bill included items like paper towels or shower stuff. So I spent slightly more than I originally planned. Got all shopping done in about 15 minutes. Probably because I bought everything off Amazon and went more for gifts for family groups, rather than individuals. So games mostly, including two sets of Apples to Apples...

You know what works really well for getting Amazon's 4-for-3 deal? Marvel Adventures pocket trades. Plus I get stories in a Marvel 'verse where people aren't A) assholes or B) stupid or C) stupid assholes. Thats a good deal for twenty bucks...

Majority of Christmas moneys have now been spent. Am flush with multitudes of books and comics. Yep finally caught up on my pulls for the last month. More on that later...

Which was made easier in that family-wise we're only supposed to be shopping for the kids. So other than my brother and his wife, I only had to buy gifts for a few adults...

Back from hitting Blockbuster. Their current pre-viewed dvd deal is buy 2 get 2 free. So I snagged Stranger than Fiction and Children of Men at 15 bucks each and got Casino Royale and Slither for the free. I like the free. It is a good price for my budgeting needs...

I need to refill my diabetes meds. I can get them much cheaper at Wal-Mart. I really don't want to shop at Wal-Mart. But I like spending less money on drugs. But I REALLY don't want to shop at Wal-Mart...
