the Crown s.2:  Although the final episode of the season is a bit muddled and weaker-overall, still a lot of greatness covering mostly the 60s era of Queen Elizabeth.  Claire Foy still manages to convey an amazing range in simple silent sequences or with an arched eyebrow.  She will be especially missed as they change casts for the next season.

Big Mouth s.1:   This show definitely needs to decide on what level of magical realism they're going for. Also hanging a lampshade on a questionable or problematic joke or subject doesn't autocorrect it. I kind of enjoyed it, cause there was an awful lot of talent involved.

Michael Keaton as the over-the-hill action star looking to reinvent his career and Norton as the prima donna (danna?) theater star both are pretty killer.  I'm not sure on the has psychic powers/just part of his crazy thing.  But I did really like the whole single tracking shot trick they do.  Oh and Emma Stone gets a couple choice scenes as well

Snowpiercer:  In the future the remnants of humanity will survive frozen Earth aboard a train.  Onboard the train, rigid-caste system dystopia.  Outside hellish icy deathscape.  Clever bit of scifi that makes good use of its unusual set-up...

A mystery in four acts.  Except they basically bust open the mystery in the second act.  And then its more of a psychological thriller.  With a theme of What is marriage throughout.  Excellent direction by David Fincher and great acting all around.  Tyler Perry especially stands-out as Affleck's celebrity lawyer...

Fruitvale Station: A last day in the life of Oscar Grant who was murdered by over-reacting transit police. Powerful stuff, especially by lead Michael B. Jordan...
