Writer's Block: Freewill vs. fate

But seriously, not believing in predestination or reincarnation or astrology and such, I'm gonna have to say no. It's people like you who made me hate Romeo and Juliet because I thought it was just an emotionally manipulative love story! (It's actually a tragedy and Romeo's fatal flaw was going after Capulet girls. Also, "blood feuds are senseless, tragic, wasteful, and self-perpetuating, and we must learn to bury our past grievances and move forward as neighbors before we kill each other off" was a much bigger theme than "true love conquers all" (because it didn't. ))
This went kind of off-topic, but I've been wanting to get that off my chest for a while now.
