Hooray, hooray, it's a holi- holiday!
Off on my hols tomorrow to the Whitsundays - Airlie Beach and then Daydream Island. Just been out in my lunch hour and bought some books, as recommended by various people on
camillo1978 's journal. I've got Dorothy L Sayers' Lord Peter Views the Body, and Isabel Allende's The House of the Spirits. I also stopped by Myer and had a little visit to the Estee Lauder counter. I do use their skincare, and their double wear lipstick is fab, but I also like it so much more when there are freebies to be had! With my moisturiser and lipstick I got freebies to the tune of a rather nice handbag, a cosmetics bag, lash primer plus and mascara, lipstick, a lipgloss palette, a lipgloss, double eyeshadow and eyeliner, some brushes, a sample size moisturiser and night serum and some perfume. Bargain! I must admit to giving away the perfume - I'm a Chanel No. 5 girl - and the lipstick, which was a peachy-colour and just not me. I prefer a brighter shade, so will be sticking to "rare wine". Even so, everything else will come in very handy.
So, I will be bidding you all adieu for a week of sun and sand, and hopefully a little bit of writing too.
ETA - I was going to have my mood as excited, but the little blue cat doesn't look very excited at all. Giddy and happy aren't much better, and jubilant looks positively depressed! I think I'll have to go with Bouncy. s
