I try not to read too much into things on the show or think too much about them, so I just look at it as, Luke told Bob and Mona he resigned, but he probably didn't make an official resignation to the board itself. Also Mona may have been okay with it two weeks ago, but since that time she may have been steered into a different direction by the company, because I doubt she's the one making decisions.
Ultimately, I don't think Luke had to give up his seat on the board, because the problem with Mona was removed when Bob decided not to sell the hospital.
thank you for this really helps me to understand it. my roommate who doesn't watch the show, asked me though how LURE was doing. I told her the same things and she to also told me cause it probably wasn't offical.

I noticed the whole thing to but just decided it's soap and the boys are being cute so I'll just go with the flow.
