I just wanted to thank everyone who spoke with me the other day. Listening to all of you kept me as calm as I needed to be until Ronald came to rescue me from the cold. Nice to meet you, Mr Lupin. I'm Teddy Altman, by the way. Since I got here I haven't heard anybody say anything discriminatory at all, which is really weird, but nice. I'm from New York City, but I'm probably not from the same world as you.

Nice to meet you, Teddy. And I'm tempted to agree. If I didn't know some of the most suspicious, cynical people to ever live, I might be tempted to be worried it's all too good, but instead I will be pleasantly surprised.

[ooc: I know some of the crew allows and some doesn't, so I would say for the meantime I'm a-ok with chars acknowledging that they know the material, obviously, but would probably want to avoid any actual mutual ic...wall-breaking if that makes sense 8D;]

There's good and bad parts of everything, so you might as well look for the good.

Thanks. My mom raised me well. I wish it was less unusual, but then it took a lot to make me who I am now and I'm not sure I'd wish that on anybody else.

It's kind of unfair if I already know...

I try. There has to be somebody sensible around to take care of everybody else when they need it.
