Yay, I found a suitable choir
I found myself a choir and one of my old old orchestra friends is the conductor of that choir. *happy happy* What incredible luck. The number one thing that I was worried about with joining a choir was what kind of conductor the choir had as that has a great impact on the general attmosphere of the choir. But with someone that I know and whom I respect greatly as a musician to be the conductor, well, I just can't believe my luck. Now I just need to get into the choir, but that shouldn't be that difficult. xpFor the people not on my flist, here are some photos where Orasi is making a chocolate cake. It just doesn't work as well with third of the photos missing, but I guess that you can get some sort of idea of what's going on.I bought something pretty weird today at UFF... It's very much outside of my usual style but it was funny so I bought it anyway. While I was running errands in Helsinki I also went to Verkkokauppa.com to look at laptops. It was completely overwhelming, but I did learn a few things. Laptops with a 15" screen and above are way too big for what I'm looking for. I don't get the point of 19" laptops. They're huge. But with the small laptops with a 10" - 12" screen the keyboards were really small and that's a problem since writing is one of the main things that I'd like to do with a laptop. :/ I'd have to learn to type all over again with a keyboard that small. I tried a couple of them at the store and I just typoed like crazy.
