I guess that I should make a general update. I'm working on a longer post, but it's not ready for posting yet and it's going to be locked anyway. Today my Easter holiday vacation started. I have a really long break this time as it started today and the next time that I need to be at the Uni is 7 days from now. Pretty sweet. Today I've been pretty lazy. I watched the first half of the second season of Medium. I'm finally getting to some of the episodes that I've already seen. It's weird how I like watching that show even if it's so scary sometimes that it makes me jump.
I made dinner and later in the evening also baked some kookos-mokkapalat, which are like a chocolate tart that has coconut "frosting" on top of it. They look something like
this. The recipe is my grandma's and I totally love the stuff that she bakes.
Yesterday we had our first kaiwakan (speech practise meeting?) with the Visual ID group. We basically planned how we're going to do this, practising talking Japanese. I had trouble understanding what was being said and I was having a really lousy morning so I didn't get much said in Japanese. We'll try to meet once a week so it should be good practise for me talking with people who have studied Japanese longer than me. After my lessons I studied Japanese for four hours. Somehow the kanji homework took ages to finish this time. I wonder why. I also went to Tai Chi practise. My legs are still stiff from it. I've had a too long brake from practise. The movements aren't flowing the right way and it feels awkward. At the end of the two hours my hands were finally starting to feel warm. I need to attend practise regularly, if I want the movements to flow like they should and also for the chi to move like it should.
I'll most probably start studying again next week (Monday or Tuesday) and relax for the weekend. Maybe my flu would also go away, if I just took it easy for a while.
