Homework sucks

Apr 03, 2007 00:29

I'm still swamped with homework. This sucks. I have a meeting next morning so I can't stay up late doing homework and I have a ton of homework for tomorrow, if I want to finish the Japanese composition. I could either skip some of my the other homework or then return the essay later this week. And I even studied kanjis for three hours today before orchestra practise, but I didn't even finish with them. >< Orchestra was a bit more interesting today as we got some wind instruments at the practise. I'm also noticing that it's bad that I don't practise my viola at all during the week, because my skills are dropping. I played so out of tune today, it was pretty awful. It's just that the songs that we're playing right now don't inspire me to practise them at home at all because they're so easy.

Yesterday I went to Tai Chi at long last. I intend to go to practise more often from now on. I left straight to meet with my orchestra friends after Tai Chi. We met at my viola friend's place this time and cooked chicken and rice. We also played Carcassonne, which is still a tricky game, and we also watched Tonari no Totoro. I haven't seen Totoro since it game from the telly before I was even into anime, so a long time ago. I want to buy it on DVD so that I can watch it without subtitles. Besides, Totoro is just so awesome.

I'll post some Youtube links now as there are some fun videos that have crossed my path.

Daler Mehndi - Tunak Tunak Tun
- If you've played WoW, this dance could be familiar to you as it's the dance for the male Draenei. It has to be one of the stupidest dances in the history of music videos, or something. :p

Lagaan - Mitwa
- This is my favorite scene from my favorite Indian movie, Lagaan. I love the song and the dance is fun. I've danced it with some people at a couple of pujas.

Bukkake Milk
- May not be work safe, but it's actually pretty innocent considering the name of this Japanese commercial. And... Feline disrespect from behind!
