Brother commented on the "dinosaur" on my desk today. It's not a dinosaur, it's a
dragon. >< Would someone please kill that fly buzzing around my room. It'll drive me crazy when I go to bed, I know that from experience. Okey, I managed to lure it out of my room so we're clear for now.
I'm going to be pretty busy until next week. After lessons today I worked on the referate and got it finished in a couple of hours. Tomorrow I'll have time to do my philosophy homework and study some Japanese. Studying really can be a full-time job. I'm usually at the campus for five hours every day, sometimes a bit more and sometimes less. I have the kana (hiragana & katakana) exam next week. I do remember the hiraganas but the katakanas are a bit more shaky. I need to study more. That is now priority number one because failing the damned kana exam is not an option.
I'll probably have to skip the aesthetics essay in favor of studying Japanese, and I still don't have an idea what I'd like to write about anyway. Essays and other written assignments are the downfall for me, which is kinda ironic when I stop to think about it. Me, who writes about an hour every day, can't manage to write school assignments. I wish that I knew what the problem behind that is.
On my way over to orchestra practise today I had quite the scare as my viola case suddenly fell to the ground. I was standing at a crosslight crosswalk and was just lowering the case to the ground when one of the fasteners to the strap (can't think of a better word right now) snapped loose. The case fell on my toes. It wasn't that high so it didn't hurt too much. But I still thought that rather my toes than the concrete as my toes might soften the fall. Hey, it's natural instincts for a musician to be overly protective of their instrument. I'm the same way with my hands.
Dunno what happened to the fastener. It didn't brake, just opened. It's not supposed to do that. The case is starting to be old but that's never happened before. The opera that we're practising at orchestra will premiere in a matter of weeks. Time sure flies by. The beginning of October looks so stressful. I need some sort of damage control plan so that I don't completely burn out.
lol @ current music's name. I have no idea, if that's supposed to be there or not as I've gotten the song from someone on my flist, can't remember who anymore. Sounds like something from
strawberrycocoa. Good music anyway.
Listening to Alien Ant Farm's Attitude reminds me of a Love Hina video that I had to the music. I suddenly have the urge to see it again but I probably don't have the video any longer. Time to hit the org. :p Note: I've had dreams lately but I only remember fragments. I've also had a disturbing amount of GW dreams. Should I start to worry already? ^^;
[EDIT]
Low and behold. The org's archives have failed me. They do not have the video or any information of it. I know that I'm not making it up because I can so clearly see Love Hina material in my head when listening to Attitude. I think that it was a character profile of Motoko, if I remember that sword chicks name correctly. It's probably been a couple of years. I liked the video. Where did I get it from... Time to hit Google. :p
[EDIT2]
Google is no help and neither is Youtube. Did I just imagine that video? I've seen hundreds of videos so it's possible, but I'm pretty sure that there was a video like that. Oh well, I can see the video in my minds eye so I don't really need to real thing.
