Victory!
Made it! I finally survived the run of work, and now it's time for a holiday. Flying out tomorrow morning to spend 17 long, glorious days with Susi, and not before time. This is going to be a well-needed trip.
In other news, I did a radio interview today! FreeRadio wanted to come and meet me after hearing about my job on Twitter - someone apparently liked my announcements that much! - so they came out and we did a few things! They did a short interview about the job, and got me to read out a little script to announce some songs on their show, then they had a try at announcing the trains! It was a lot less in-depth than I'd feared it was going to be - I was kinda nervous about doing it, but they were very good at putting people at ease, and it all went off pretty well! They say they're going to air it some time on Tuesday morning, when I'll be safely out of the country. :P
Now, if I can just motivate myself enough to pack this suitcase... :P
