(no subject)
i'm debating closing my lj account. i've had this thing since my first year of college. but then what do i do? that's about 6 years' worth of journal entries that i don't want to lose forever but i'm not sure what i should do....suggestions?
tonight i'm moving some of my stuff over to bach's. i'll be moving the rest in the next couple of weeks. my new job is only a couple of blocks from his current apartment in dupont so it just makes more sense for me to live with him until we move into the cleveland park apartment. i'm looking forward to walking to work for the next 2 weeks. after that it will only be about a 15-20 minute commute on metro which is also fabulous.
last night we celebrated our 6 month anniversathingy (i don't really believe you can call it an "anniversary" when it's less than a year, but still perhaps a notable date). in any case we went to the melting pot for dinner and it was glorious. you dip things in cheese, and then you dip other things in chocolate. that may be the greatest thing i've ever heard of. i ate and drank too much. then we went home and watched the count of monte cristo, which i had never seen and is one of his favorite movies. it has revenge and a happy ending, which is all right in my book. he just bought a new tv, 42 inches of plasma television deliciousness. we have become increasingly worthless due to this fact. i've spent vast portions of the weekend playing dead or alive on his xbox 360, which is pretty much the most hilarious game ever. the japanese either completely hate americans, or have a great sense of humor, or both.
time to shower, and pack. wish me luck on my first day tomorrow!
